With this wine, owner Kate Giles and winemaker Marnie Roberts aimed for the ‘slurpy, approachable style’ that they enjoyed in Italy and we think they’ve succeeded.
In the glass: Medium density red.
On the nose: Red berry and plum with five spice, leather and cedar.
On the palate: Medium bodied yet richly flavoured with plummy fruit depth, supple tannins, obvious toasty oak and a fleshy finish.
