The fruit was grown in Rutherglen and neighbouring Glenrowan, regions known for producing warm, fuller-bodied expressions with rich flavours and heady aromatics.
Deep red purple in colour with aromas of cassis, plum, pepper and vanillin oak. Medium to full-bodied with a flavoursome concentration of black fruits, spicy tannin foundation, oak and fine acidity driving the rich, persistent finish.
