Although traditionally better-known for its Cabernet, Margaret River also produces excellent Shiraz, and this one from Thompson Estate is a great example.
Deep crimson purple. Intense and lifted spiced berry and cedar. Very rich, dense and concentrated, with a terrifically bright core of black cherry and plum, lovely spicy intensity, seamless tannins, fresh acidity and excellent balance throughout.
