Tinklers Steep Hill Shiraz 2016

Steeped in Hunter Valley tradition and history, the Tinkler family, once grape growers only, now excel in making wine from their pristine Hunter vineyards.
 
In the glass: Medium red black purple.
On the nose: Attractive mix of prune and currant over black fruit, leather and earth.
On the palate: Quite a savoury, mid-weight style showing an equal and harmonious mix of spicy fruit and cedary oak. Jubey fruit appeal with lovely oak complexity running to the finish.
