In 2009, Michel Chapoutier of the famous Rhône Valley producer bought the Lansborough vineyard in the Pyrenees to set up the Tournon label.
In the glass: Dark brick red.
On the nose: Spicy dark berry lift with earth, cedar and talc notes.
On the palate: Mid weight and savoury, with a juicy core of raspberry and dark cherry fruit lifted by spice and dried herb characters, supple tannins and vibrant acidity to finish.
