Sangiovese seems to thrive in cooler reaches of the Mount Lofty Ranges, and this is a lovely example of the variety with loads of food-friendly appeal.
Deep, bright purple. Dark berries, crushed herbs and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, with black plum, sour cherry and mulberry, savoury notes of dark chocolate and espresso, fine and silken tannins, plenty of oak and good length.
