The Belford vineyard was planted in 1933 and is the northern-most of the Tyrrell’s Hunter vineyards. The 2017 vintage was one of the best in decades and the wines are superb.
Youthful green straw. Wonderful lime and lemon lift, with notes of apple and white pineapple. Fresh and still-tense, with a crisp citrus core, mouth-watering acidity, some complex secondary notes, and a beautifully focussed finish. Stunning!
