Usher Tinkler has been making some outstanding, small-batch wines for a number of years now under his own label, and his Reserve Chardonnay is deluxe throughout.
Pale green-gold. Gun flint, peach, pear and melon aromas. Full-bodied, rich and opulent, yet still vibrant and fine, with layers of white pineapple, stonefruit and marzipan, slatey minerality, fine-boned acidity, and lovely oak spices persisting.
