A left of centre take on traditional Semillon and all the better for it. Partial barrel fermentation results in a bright but textural expression of the variety.
Fine straw green. Savoury lemon, pear drop, citrus zest and sandalwood. Very elegant and long, with a fine frame of lemon and line, hints of white pepper, satiny mouthfeel, texture and depth from time in oak and a long, classy finish. A lovely wine.
