Wirral Grange are a boutique Hunter operation, specialising in Shiraz and Verdelho, and their 2023 vintage Verdelho is mouth-watering.
Pale straw. Musk, pear, melon and white peach aromas. Quite opulent, a fruit salad in a glass, with focussed acidity driving the apple and stonefruit core, lovely balance throughout, and a dry, savoury finish.
