Wynns of Coonawarra are the region’s largest single vineyard holders and have the longest established vineyard sites. Experience three of their benchmark reds including the 2009 Michael Shiraz, only produced in vintages of extraordinary quality.
Wynns Glengyle Cabernet Sauvignon 2009: Each vintage Wynns selects a premium parcel from a single vineyard to bottle separately. In 2009 it was Cabernet Sauvignon from the 44-year-old Glengyle vineyard, which is in the heart of Terra Rossa soils. It’s concentrated and layered with subtle French oak.
Wynns The Gables Cabernet Shiraz 2011: This superior red is named after the Wynns winery’s famous gables, which have featured on the Wynns labels for over 50 years. It’s made from small parcels of Cabernet and Shiraz, which come together into a beautifully balanced wines.
Wynns Limited Release Michael Shiraz 2009: Wynn’s ‘best of vintage Shiraz’ was originally made in 1955, then revived in 1990. The 2009 vintage is fine and elegant with soft ripe tannins and balanced stylish oak.
