Yalumba Samuels Garden Roussanne 2015

Following their success with Viognier, Yalumba turned to Roussanne, another beautifully perfumed white from the Northern Rhône.
 
In the glass: Medium lemon green.
On the nose: Stonefruit, apple, lemon, toasted almond and light floral lift.
On the palate: Classic Roussanne, it's packed with power and complexity yet silken and textural with lovely drive of peach and preserved lemon, creamy, mouth-coating texture and racy acidity to balance. Oak adds seasoning, structure and a buttery mouth-feel.
