Z Wine Roman Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2013

Winemaker Janelle Zerk and her sister Kristen set up Z Wines to create drops that are sophisticated, stylish and elegant. With its lovely balance, this GSM certainly fits the bill.  
 
In the glass: Bright ruby red.
On the nose: Fresh mix of red and black fruits, plum, spice and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Very rich and ripe with raspberry and blackberry fruit and hints of liquorice in a supple and flavoursome style. Well-judged quality oak holds the spicy core of earthy fruit perfectly in check.
