Held in the picturesque South Bank Parklands, Brisbane's signature wine and dine shindig features live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, farm fresh produce from Queensland's market movers and shakers, live music and delectable gourmet fare.

If you're a fan of fresh, then the Marketplace is for you! Shop direct from 90 farmers, producers and purveyors from around Queensland, who will be serving up the best of gourmet ingredients from nuts, berries, spices and everything in between.

This year's festival also boasts a stellar line-up of live demonstrations across four stages from renowned names, including modern sweets maestro Darren Purchese, Logan Food Ambassador Poh Ling Yeow, and MasterChef Australia Judges Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris.

For a more intimate cooking experience, be sure to visit the Queensland Taste Stage, where local chefs will be whipping up delicious fare from superior Queensland produce for you to taste and try. Or wander the wine trail outside to savour a sangiovese, local pinot, merlot and other drops rich in Queensland terroir. Once you've settled on your favourite drop, kick back in the winter sunshine and enjoy live music by emerging artists at the City Sounds Stage.

Presentations of the meatier kind can be found at The Hunting Club Stage, where you can experience lamb and beef cooking demonstrations, butchery masterclasses and hear stories from South East Queensland graziers. The Hunting Club is also the venue to match your meat with a local malt, with selections from four Queensland craft breweries on tap. Bistro style plates designed specially to compliment the beers will also be available throughout the afternoon and well into the evening.

Alternatively, eat your way around the Sunshine State at one of the many eatSouthBank Street Stalls run by some of South Bank's most renowned restaurateurs; or indulge in a signature cocktail on the lively gourmet picnic lawns of River Quay Green.
