The Medallion device literally opens your stateroom door on your approach, but also opens doors in more ways than one. It makes embarking and disembarking easy, alerts waiters to your food preferences, allows you to order food and drinks on demand, and lets you check your account. Meanwhile, there are a range of TrulyTouchless experiences such as contactless payment to add a further degree of seamless convenience.
Can’t be bothered moving from your deck lounge or stateroom balcony? No worries. Use your device to have a drink or pizza delivered. Message your onboard mates without having to find them. You don’t even need to worry about finding yourself: a GPS-like system knows where you are, and gives directions to where you want to go.

Meanwhile MedallionNet® provides fast, reliable Wi-Fi across the ship. Stream your favourite movies, TV programs or sports on your stateroom television or hand-held device as you flop by the pool. Most guests wear it on a wristband, but you can wear it as a clip or pendant or just drop it in your pocket.

You can also design a perfect day at sea with the activity planner. Princess is also notable for its Local Partnerships Program, which shares the world while protecting it. In New Zealand, for example, guests support community-based activities that celebrate
local culture and ensure the protection natural heritage. Projects have included kiwi and penguin conservation, and a major art exhibition entitled “Whale Tales”. A collaboration with Māori artist Chelsea Logan-Porter and the World Wildlife Fund, the exhibition has helped restore the marine environment in Hauraki Gulf off Auckland.
