New Ships, New Destinations

This year, Uniworld will re-define luxury afloat, with four spectacular new Super Ships in Italy, Portugal, Egypt and Vietnam, together with its first-ever South American itineraries.

Perfection in Portugal, Spain and the Douro River Valley
This 11-day sojourn from Porto to Lisbon sees you sailing onboard the S.S. Sao Gabriel, the newest ship on the Douro.
Designed to capture the essence of the stunning UNESCO-designated Douro River Valley region, this ship brings the locality to life through its décor, cuisine and wines. Its entire top deck offers sumptuous suites, enhanced with butler service to meet your every desire.
As you sail past picturesque hamlets and acres of lush, ripe vineyards, you will indulge in the finest Spanish and Portuguese culture and cuisine.
Devour traditional fare in majestic Coimbra, the birthplace of six Portuguese kings. Enjoy private port tastings in Porto and explore its historic Ribeira district. Visit the Douro Valley’s charming quintas, meeting the winemakers and tasting their wares.
In Salamanca, Spain, visit the city’s famous university, the third oldest in the world. Return to Portugal with a visit to the medieval village of Castelo Rodrigo and the historic city of Guimarães.
Your journey concludes in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, where you will take in breathtaking hilltop vistas, traditional pastel-coloured buildings and of course, incredible food and wine.

Gems of Northern Italy
Uniworld’s 10-day luxury cruise takes you from vibrant Milan, where you will visit Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, to romantic Venice, aboard the newly refurbished S.S. La Venezia. This ‘floating hotel’ offers the ultimate in luxury, with incomparable inclusions.
It will steer you beautifully by the colourful facades of Burano, an exclusive for Uniworld guests, before sailing to the islands of Mazzorbo and Torcello, where you will become besotted by beautiful mosaics, fresh produce and wine.
In the southern fishing village of Chioggia, also known as ‘Little Venice’, be charmed by narrow streets, canals and medieval churches, while Valpolicella will seduce you with its legendary wines. When in Verona, the City of Love, be sure to visit ‘Juliet’s balcony.’

Splendours of Egypt and The Nile
This 12-day Cairo-to-Cairo expedition is aboard the S.S. Sphinx, the newest and most luxurious ship on the Nile, offering all-inclusive, seamless, luxury travel.
With three gourmet dining venues, a swimming pool, massage room and 42 suites, this is the ultimate way to experience Egypt.
Onboard, locally sourced Egyptian artwork, fabrics and hand-carved furnishings bring the beauty of the region to life. Onshore, your adventure begins and ends in Cairo, where you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum to view pharaonic artefacts, including treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb. From there, journey to Giza to gaze upon the iconic Pyramids and enigmatic Sphinx.
Your exciting itinerary also incorporates the Nile’s top sites, including the towering ruins of the Temple of Karnak and the spellbinding Temple of Luxor. You’ll visit temples dedicated to Hathor and Horus, and in the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty, you will be steeped in history and wonder.

Mekong Jewel, Vietnam and Cambodia
The S.S. Mekong Jewel shines as the newest, most opulent ship on the Mekong river. Its 13-day itinerary begins in Ho Chi Minh City and sails to Siem Reap, via Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat and more.
The all-suite ship includes two dining venues: one main restaurant and an al fresco eatery on the upper deck. As with all Uniworld vessels, it has been constructed with sustainability at every touch point.

Peruvian Amazon and Machu Picchu Exploration
Embark on Uniworld’s Aria Amazon for a selection of new itineraries on board this eco-friendly, 16-suite ship boasting floor-to-ceiling windows for the ultimate rainforest views. Its top deck features a jacuzzi, indoor lounge and bar, and outdoor observation deck, together with five-star cuisine. And with each sailing, guests are joined by native born-and-raised naturalist guides.
The 15-day itinerary launches with a land portion in Lima, staying at a 5-star hotel, followed by a seven-night cruise through the Amazon rainforest, finishing with trips to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco.
The 11-day Peruvian Rivers and Rainforest Discovery explores the colourful capital of Lima, the pristine Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve and sails along the Amazon River, roundtrip from Iquitos.
