When it comes to organic Australian wine, Battle of Bosworth should be one of your first choices. They’ve been committed to organic viticulture for 20 years, which means that their vineyards are certified to be free of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
With this Shiraz they’ve taken their organic approach one step further by not adding any preservative (sulphur dioxide). Combined with the ‘Joven’ style winemaking, the result is a beautifully vibrant, deep purple coloured wine. The lifted nose of violet, plum, blackberry, cardamom and charcuterie leads to a powerful yet not overbearing palate showing plum, black cherry and mulberry fruit with classic Shiraz white pepper lift and excellent acidity.
