Sourced entirely from the Eden Valley region, the Yalumba Triangle Block Shiraz 2014 highlights the wonderful regional and varietal character of Shiraz fermented with a small percentage of Viognier. It shows elegant red and black fruit balance with fine, medium weight flavours and slightly rustic new and old leather charm. This is a classy wine with excellent oak integration, length and drive.
A delicious blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Viognier, the Henschke Henry's Seven Shiraz Blend 2015 was crafted by fifth-generation winemaker, Stephen Henschke, using Eden Valley and Barossa fruit. The nose is quite earthy yet perfumed with spicy plum and bitter cherry lift. The medium weight palate is showing lovely juicy fruit throughout, ripe tannins and new oak support intensified by dark fruit, savoury and dried herb notes.
