Byron & Harold Rose & Thorns Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Winemaker Luke Eckersley sourced fruit from Margaret River to produce this 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon that is anything but thorny!
 
Deep red in the glass, this Cabernet opens with a youthful nose of blackcurrant and brambly black fruits with regional notes of capsicum and crushed leaf. A darkly-fruited wine, it delivers a solid framework of tannin and acidity holding fresh layers of dark berry fruits, cassis and leaf litter over toasty oak.
