Château Tanunda The Château Grenache Tempranillo 2015

This Barossa icon is experiencing great success with interesting varietals and blends like this succulent and savoury red.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep red.
On the nose: Savoury blue and black fruit lift with fresh spice notes.
On the palate: Curranty fruit depth with a spicy and savoury twist. Grapey with hints of vanillin oak and finishes with a lovely bitter dark cherry and dark chocolate dryness. Tannins are fine and powdery, while the acidity is fresh and spicy.
