De Bortoli’s Gulf Station range is made from both estate grown fruit and that of other low yielding, premium Yarra Valley vineyards with result being widely appealing wines like this lovely Pinot Noir.
Light brick in colour, it features strawberry, cherry and cinnamon spice on the nose. Light and dry, it has an attractive layer of varietal forest floor and a silky texture bound by balanced acidity, supporting oak and smoky, stalky persistence on the savoury finish.
