In the winery: A blend of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz. After malolactic fermentation in tank, the batches were racked to barrel for maturation.
In the glass: Deep red purple.
On the nose: Plum, redcurrant, mulberry and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Quite soft, earthy and medium bodied with a good mix of red and black fruit flavours, spicy richness adding to the fruit sweetness, mocha-like depth and vanillin oak.
