Gartelmann have produced a quality Cabernet using fruit from Mudgee. The Panel described it as "A well balanced wine with lovely youthful charm."
Deep red purple. Forest fruits, crushed herbs, graphite, earth and hickory smoke. Medium to full-bodied with cascades of blackberry, mulberry and blackcurrant, bay leaf, cedar, bramble and graphite complexity, smokey oak and a long, varietal finish.
