HEAD Wines was started in 2006 by Alex Head, and focusses on single site Rhone varietals from the Barossa and Eden Valleys in South Australia, and this 'brunette' is stunning.
Deep ruby. Inky dark berry, currant and spice perfume. Dense and full-bodied with lashings of spicy black and purple fruit, mouth-watering acidity and ripe, savoury tannins, and a long, velvety finish. Powerful yet classy.
