In the winery: The Nebbiolo was co-fermented with Barbera for added complexity. Matured in seasoned French hogsheads for 12 months.
In the glass: Pale garnet with a russet hue.
On the nose: Wild red berries, forest floor and smoke.
On the palate: Light yet with intense varietal sour cherry, youthful hints of red plum and cranberry, forest floor, tea smoke and game. Quite juicy and silky with typical Nebbiolo tannins.
