In the winery: After malolactic fermentation, the wine spent 15 months maturation in new, one-year-old and two-year-old French oak.
In the glass: Full, deep red garnet.
On the nose: Dark berry, liquorice and briar.
On the palate: Intense and concentrated with a deep core of blackcurrant and redcurrant. Full and rich, it features ripe tannins, fine acidity and savoury oak with sweet curranty fruit power effortlessly soaking up the strong toasty oak.
