Originally a journalist working for The Land newspaper, ABC radio and The Australian, winemaker Tim Stevens made a career change in the 1990s and now crafts delicious drops like the Huntington Estate Merlot 2013.
A lighter weight style, this Mudgee Merlot is bright, deep red in the glass. Fresh red berry aromas with notes of violets, herb and spice lead into a medium weight and lightly spicy palate with redcurrant and raspberry fruit, a touch of rosemary and dried herb, soft tannins and spicy length.
