This Merlot from Irvine, masters of the variety, was named after their Springhill vineyard located in Eden Valley, where the fruit for this wine was grown.
Medium density red. Cranberry, plum, graphite and hoisin lift. Plummy fruit from start to finish with plenty of savoury, earthy hints, fine yet firm tannin structure and well-judged oak. A flavoursome and well-made Merlot with loads of flavour.
