Just at the southern end of the Penola cricket ground is the Jim Barry Cabernet vineyard, which is where the fruit for this delicious wine is sourced from.
Deep, dark red. Lifted currant, cassis, earth and cedar oak. Full-bodied, with a plush core of black fruit, layers of cassis, vanilla and mocha, ripe tannin harmony and lovely oak on the seamless finish. A well made wine.
