Lock & Key Shiraz 2014

This Triple Gold medal-winning Shiraz was crafted using premium Hilltops fruit. Minimal irrigation, bunch-thinning and careful pruning ensures low yields of highly concentrated fruit ­- providing wines of great intensity and regional distinction.
 
In the glass: Deep purple.
On the nose: Violet, plum, bramble, white pepper and lightly toasty oak.
On the palate: Unashamedly medium-bodied yet refreshing with a ripe core of peppery black fruits and long inky fruit length. The tannins are fine yet serious with iodine-like persistence.
