Crafted from vigorously selected, high quality fruit from mature, low yielding vines, the McWilliams ‘1877” is a truly exceptional Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, boasting eight trophies and 26 Gold medals.
 
Deep ruby red in the glass, this deliciously deluxe wine has aromas of dark fruit, licorice and chocolate. The palate is rich and generous with ripe plump fruit core and concentrated mid palate, and features ripe velvety tannins and layers of licorice pepper and cedary oak on the finish. Crafted by winemaker Andrew Higgins, this wine is an absolute gem and certainly one for the cellar.
