Black was the name originally given to Mudgee Shiraz for its intensity and depth of flavour, and this very generous and well-made wine is testament to that.
Deep purple. Notes of blackberry, cherry plum, pepper and earth. Immensely powerful yet with elegance to match, showing deep saturation of peppery black fruit, deep yet fine and velvety tannins, red berry-like acidity and charry oak in support.
