The Mount Langi Ghiran vineyard, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Dividing Range in the Grampians region of Victoria, is one of the most isolated and unique sites in Australian viticulture. It’s also home to some very exciting and unique wines.
Crafted by Dan Buckle, The Mount Langi Ghiran Billi Billi Shiraz 2010 is a great example of the superb wines produced by Mount Langi Ghiran. Full deep red in colour it has a spicy nose with pepper, dark fruits, menthol and cedary oak aromas. The palate is ripe and rich with a compote of blue, black and red fruits, plush texture and ripe tannins. All of the elements are in balance and quite Rhône-like in style with an elegant mouthfeel and white pepper spice on the finish.
