The name refers to a winemaker’s hands becoming stained purple during vintage
due to the constant contact with grape skins and juice.
In the glass: Youthful opaque purple.
On the nose: Expressive plum, blueberry, mulberry and vanilla.
On the palate: Full-bodied and generous, with flavours flowing on from the nose, black cherry, black pepper and exotic spices, fabulous velvety tannins and a long generous finish.
