Richard Hamilton Shiraz 2013

Richard Hamilton is the fifth generation Hamilton to make wine in Australia. His 2013 Shiraz has been crafted to present excellent fruit definition and length and typifies both the excellent Shiraz fruit and the McLaren Vale region.
 
In the glass: Attractive red purple.
On the nose: Fresh black fruit, spice, pepper and cedary oak.
On the palate:Fresh and spicy palate with a line of peppery spice throughout, layers of black fruit flavour, savoury tannins and well judged oak. A generous wine with good balance.
