Tim Knappstein, the acclaimed name behind Riposte, has been making Adelaide Hills wines since 1966. For this Gold medal winning Pinot, he chose some of the region’s oldest Pinot vineyards in the sub-regions of Lenswood and Picadilly.
Light to medium red in the glass, it displays lifted, ripe red berry fruit and earth aromas. Plush and rich, the generous palate has a vibrant core of red berry fruit, velvety tannins and cedary oak in support. It has a warm, plush, mouth-watering texture in a full-bodied Corton Red Burgundy style.
