Sam Miranda is the third generation of a prominent winemaking family who moved from Italy to Australia in the 1930s, so it is no surprise that he ended up in the King Valley making savoury Italian varietals.
In the glass: Full, deep red.
On the nose: Currant, plum and cedar lift.
On the palate: Full-bodied and generous with a dark core of fruit, making for a dense yet velvety wine. The palate is rich and inky with solid tannin intensity and has a refined finish.
