Schwarz Wine Co GSM 2015

The Schwarz family has a long history in the Barossa and this is a classic regional blend from the latest generation.
 
In the glass: Medium red.
On the nose: Raspberry, redcurrant and five spice.
On the palate: An elegant expression of this blend that’s quite Pinot-like with the Grenache giving vibrant red fruit and a silken mouth-feel, the Shiraz adding spice and the Mataro giving muscle. The tannins are fine and savoury.
