This Pinot Noir is purely sourced from Seville Estate’s original 1972 plantings. Combine that with a fantastic growing season in 2012 and you’ve got a beautiful Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.
In the winery: Gently pressed off skins following fermentation and run straight to French oak, 50% new, for barrel maturation on lees.
In the glass: Pale ruby.
On the nose: Fragrant cherry, raspberry, bakers spice and toasty French oak.
On the palate: Layers of ripe red berry with hints of sweet spice lifted by zippy acidity
within a framework of ripe, stalky tannins and charry oak.
