Silkwood Pinot Noir 2013

The Silkwood aim is to express the Western Australian region of Pemberton through all their wines, including this premium Pinot Noir.
 
In the glass: Pale garnet with a faint brick hue.
On the nose: Fragrant, varietal nose of lifted red cherry and stalk, earth and game.
On the palate: Light to medium weight, soft and spicy with strong cherry and red berry fruit and varietal stalk and forest floor complexity. Old oak provides lovely texture and mouthfeel with some alcohol warmth on the lifted finish.
