The Mattschoss vineyard is St Hallett's highest Shiraz vineyard in the Eden Valley, and produces deeply flavoured yet elegant wines.
Deep, dark red. Blueberry compote, plum, liquorice and vanillin oak. Very concentrated with masses of blackberry, anise and amaro, with lovely complexity, good balance between fruit and savoury elements, lovely oak and a deep finish.
