Crafted exclusively from estate grown fruit, this 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Victoria’s Pyrenees region is by esteemed Chief Winemaker Loïc Le Calvez.
Taltarni was established in 1969 as a pioneer of the Pyrenees region, after a worldwide search by Frenchman John Goellet for a vineyard site comparable to the great vineyards of Bordeaux. Deep brick red in colour, this wine has an inky ripeness on the nose with cassis characters starting to develop. Its beautiful, seamless palate has a curranty core of fruit and fresh, balancing acidity. Earthy, gritty and intense - this is a strongly regional and varietal red.
