The Baroness is a beautiful blend consisting of 50% Eden Valley Grand Merlot, 25% Barossa Valley Cabernet Franc and 25% Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was matured in 50% new Allier oak and 50% once-used Allier.
Crafted by winemaker Jo Irvine, this wine is deep red black in the glass and exudes delicious aromas of rich black fruits with complex harmony of blood plum, mint and hints of truffle. The beautiful, layered and complex palate shows velvety black fruit, fine oak and deluxe, yet graceful texture, balance and mouthfeel.
