In the winery: Fruit was hand plunged in open fermenters, then pressed and transferred to French oak barriques for an 18 month maturation.
In the glass: Deep red.
On the nose: Blackberry, sweet spice and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Shows a solid core of blue and black fruit, loads of black pepper spice, still-fresh acidity and savoury oak support.
