Vigna Cantina Sangiovese 2014

Domenic Torzi has a great love of Italian varieties as you’ll discover in this Barossa Sangiovese, which is a delicious food wine.
 
In the glass: Dark brick red.
On the nose: Bitter cherry, citrus peel and dried herb aromas.
On the palate: Quite rich with sweet curranty fruit, liquorice and leather notes almost chocolatey fruit and a hint of savoury cola. Dry but very varietal on the finish, it has firm tannins, fresh acidity and terrific development.
