Victoria's first vineyard, established in 1838, Yering Station only releases this wine in exceptional vintages and this is the first release since 2006.
This brilliant, deep red Shiraz Viognier is showing rich blue and black fruit sweetness with cool climate white pepper, a touch of funk, and luscious persistence and balance. The palate features beautiful savoury layers of plum, dark cherry and spice over quality, well-judged smoky oak in an elegant style making it a great food wine. Tight-grained tannins ensure excellent cellaring potential from a regional classic.
