Ascella Naturally Pure Verdelho 2013

Owners of Ascella, Barbara and Geoff Brown, are truly passionate about their certified organic vineyard. Located in Broke Fordwich in the Hunter Valley, it produces wines of character like this bright 2013 Verdelho.
 
In the glass: Pale lemon with a faint green hue.
On the nose: Lifted tropical and citrus aromas with a hint of pine and nettle.
On the palate: Juicy and ripe with an almost creamy texture showing bright layers of stonefruit, guava and mango, citrussy acidity and persistent length.
