Box Grove Vineyard Roussanne 2009

Only a few Australian vignerons grow Roussanne, but those that do are passionate about its lingering flavours and versatility with food.
 
In the glass: Medium gold.
On the nose: Honeyed toast, almond, quince, butterscotch and rich fruit undertones.
On the palate: Full and mature, it has appealing texture and complexity. Although rich in secondary characters, it’s still fresh with citrussy acid drive from start to finish.
