While the Rutherglen region is famous for its fortifieds and reds, it also produces some solid table wines like this 2013 Chardonnay from the historic Campbells winery.
Bright, pale yellow in the glass, it shows lemon and nectarine lift on the nose. The palate has subtle fruit power, creamy oak, vibrant acidity, good varietal flavour and intensity. Serve well chilled.
