Cassegrain Chardonnay 2013

Made by winemaker Alex Cassegrain, this Cassegrain Chardonnay 2013 was crafted from cool climate, high altitude Orange fruit and is one for lovers of the more traditional style Chardonnay.
 
A mix of ripe melon and stonefruit over toasty oak and leesy almond meal-like richness opens this delicious Chardonnay. The palate is plush, juicy and quite old school-in-style with crisp lemony fruit unfolding into luxurious varietal fruits and sweet vanillin oak. Mouth-watering acidity and a complex nutty layer add depth and persistence.
